In this role, you will operate and maintain various machines in our steel fabrication facility, producing high-quality products to meet our customer's specifications.

Position: Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator at Copperloy, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment in our steel fabrication facility. This is a key role that requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery including forklifts, overhead cranes, shears, saws, press brakes, and welding robots.
• Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet quality and production goals.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, General Laborer, or Assembler is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts, overhead cranes, shears, saws, press brakes, and welding robots.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
