Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate, assess, reserve, and adjust all aspects of commercial property claims, including building, personal property, and business income losses.
- Personally conduct onsite inspections and/or actively manage the work of independent adjusters, building consultants, and other outside vendors.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and internal customers, building rapport and demonstrating outstanding claims expertise.
- Review coverage under ISO commercial property and commercial output policies, and draft coverage letters to policyholders.
- Write accurate estimates in Xactimate or similar property estimating software.
- Thoroughly and consistently document all claims adjusting activities and communications in the claim file.
- Identify opportunities for subrogation and collaborate with the subrogation department to recover from at-fault parties.
- Provide feedback to internal constituents about property losses, trends, and concerns.
- High school diploma. College degree is a plus.
- Five years of experience adjusting commercial property losses. Experience adjusting losses greater than $1 million is a plus.
- Experience adjusting inland marine claims and builder’s risk claims is a plus.
- Expertise with Xactimate or similar estimating software.
- Experience with Guidewire Claims Center is a plus.

- Employees will accrue 0.0769 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour, which may total 20 days a year. In addition, employees will also receive 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
- $92,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually
- Compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
- In addition to base salary, compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
- This position has the ability to be fully remote or hybrid based on the candidate's location.
