The UW Product Analyst assist with the maintenance/development of commercial insurance products and their integration into the policy administration systems, underwriting tools, and workflows, for employees, agents, and insureds. Promotes underwriting integrity, regulatory compliance, efficient workflows, and good user experience. Balances the needs of the insureds, agents, and employees with the company's strategic direction and financial investments and devises creative, effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares timely exhibits for filings and maintains filing status reports. Supports maintenance of databases, records, and reference materials related to all filings.
- Monitors bureau circulars for loss costs, rules & forms amendments and assesses business impact. Recommends company action, documents decisions, communicates with Product Manager & UW Systems Analysts for implementation.
- Prepares competitive analysis of coverages, classifications, ratings, filings and other rules for new products, vertical and territorial expansion.
- Compiles market data and internal data for business case development.
- Maintains Product Resources for business users to locate available insurance products, filed loss costs, rules by product and geography
- Participate in meetings with appropriate stakeholders to elicit feedback. Performs demos of systems/tools.
- Builds effective training content/job aides needed to implement processes and support underwriting/operations. Identify process improvements.
- Maintains Product workflow tool logging product requests from Field UW, Corporate UW & Product Managers.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited two-year college or institution and job-related professional workers' compensation, property or casualty experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in insurance role.
- Ability to interpret, apply and explain federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations and proceedings, and ensure compliance.
- Ability to translate technical information and create practical written instructions.
- Demonstrates a high level of innovation, initiative, and critical thinking.
- Intermediate to senior-level skills and experience generating business reports and other business-related documents
- Interpersonal skills to build positive, effective working relationships with peers, clients, and leaders
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively and productively with minimal supervision
- Ability to exercise proper judgment and decision-making to plan and accomplish goals

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, SERFF system/ Statefilings.com and Agile/Jira software preferred
- $51,500.00 - $82,000.00 annually
- Compensation may vary dependent on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
- In addition to base salary, compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.

- We provide some benefits at no cost to the employee (Basic Life Insurance and AD&D at two times an employee's annual salary, Short- and Long-term Disability coverage, and Employee Assistance Plan).
- Employees will accrue 0.0769 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour, which may total 20 days a year. In addition, employees will also receive 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
