CopperState Fire Protection, a Pye-Barker company, is seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to work within our Phoenix market!
Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative will have solid experience with outside sales, preferably commercial fire system sales, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of establishing strong customer relations. The position would be perfect for past Fire Technicians wanting to break into a sales role in the industry! We offer a very competitive uncapped commission structure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
- Communicates with customers and potential customers to understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services
- Educate all potential customers on products and services available
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Education & Required Skills:
- At least 3 years' experience of outside sales related experience
- High School / GED
- Previous Fire Technicians desired
- Technical knowledge of fire industry, or ability and drive to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exemplary sales and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of target market industries and strategies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
