We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our sales initiatives by providing insightful data analysis, reporting, and actionable recommendations to drive sales performance and market growth. The ideal candidate will aggregate key performance metrics, deliver market-level insights, and help optimize decision-making for our Commercial team. This position will report to Copperweld's Chief Commercial Officer. Travel expectations ranges from 25-35%.
WHAT we need you to do.
Aggregate national builder activity and provide monthly reports to the Builder Relations Manager and regional sales managers.
Monitor and report on KPIs by builder, including builder share and market / region share.Identify trends and opportunities to improve builder relationships and market positioning.Sales Reporting :Analyze and report on account and market profitability to support decision-making for sales managers.
Develop and deliver contractor penetration reports, identifying share by contractor and builder.Present actionable insights that improve market performance and highlight key growth opportunities.Sales Funnel Management :Track and analyze sales funnels for contractor and builder pipelines, ensuring accuracy and providing detailed market-level insights.
Monitor and report on KPIs by sales representative and by market to evaluate performance and pipeline health.Support sales teams with data-driven recommendations to improve funnel conversions.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, sales performance, and market trends.Participate in meetings with sales leadership to present findings and provide analytical support.Continuously improve data analysis processes and reporting tools for greater efficiency and clarity.Performs other duties as assigned.WHAT you need to possess.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in sales analysis, reporting, or a similar role, preferably in the wire and cable or construction industry.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and reporting tools.Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data effectively to various stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with teams.WHY Copperweld?
