Copperweld is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical finance professional to support the FP&A team! The Senior Pricing Analyst will assist in analyzing cost fluctuations, supporting pricing strategies, and providing financial insights to optimize pricing decisions. This position is located in Brentwood, TN, and will report to our Sales & Marketing Controller.
WHAT we need you to do.
- Provide financial analysis to support pricing decisions and margin enhancement opportunities.
- Assist in impact analysis for recommended pricing strategies and cost models.
- Prepare pricing proposals for review by management.
- Develop an understanding of our products and their applications.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to support price adjustments and new product pricing.
- Assist in maintaining customer pricing programs, including buying group programs.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to update and distribute price books.
- Assist the FP&A team with pricing analysis and reporting.
- Create and update monthly pricing reports to be presented to C-suites and upper management.
- Identify and recommend process improvements within the pricing function.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT you need to possess.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of pricing, financial analysis, or related experience.
- CPA Candidate a plus!
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Power BI and Tableau experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and adaptable with a proactive mindset
