What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - IT position at COPT?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide Tier I/II desktop operating systems and application support to end user base. Monitor help desk phone, email, and support ticketing system to receive, record and resolve issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supporting the COPT Service Center with ticket management, endpoint management/imaging systems, and Tier 1 support to end users.
- Support the network engineers in basic network administration tasks (we have an ongoing network redesign project underway).
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Assist in Asset Management of IT equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Rising junior or senior majoring in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and ability to learn company specific software.
- Strong analytical, technical, interpersonal and communication skills required.
