What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Marketing position at COPT?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Creative team by assisting with key marketing initiatives, leasing tours, events, merch store and assist with planning/content gathering for corporate social media accounts. This position will report to the Associate Marketing Manager and Associate Specialist – Brand Experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Brand Experience -
- Support Brand Experience and Asset Management with programming, planning and execution of events, leasing tours, giveaways, and sourcing and setting up refreshments.
- Local travel, setting up boards and program materials.
- Printing brochures/flyers.
- Organizing storage space.
2. Social Media -
- Assist Marketing Creative team with planning and developing content for corporate social media accounts.
3. Marketing Collateral -
- Updating amenity sheets.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Junior or senior in College/University majoring in marketing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and ability to learn company software.
