Copy.ai is a fully remote company. All employees must be able to work 9am-5pm in their timezone, Pacific to Eastern.
As a Senior Business Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence across the company. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to improve processes, manage projects, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a highly autonomous role that requires a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
You will report to our cofounder, and you will be a highly visible contributor with the opportunity to lay the foundation of our scaling startup.

What you'll do :
- Identify Operational Inefficiencies : Proactively analyze current operational processes to pinpoint areas of improvement across all departments.
- Develop Policies and Procedures : Create and implement operational policies that support the company's rapid growth and scalability.
- Lead Key Initiatives : Drive essential projects such as SOC2 Type II compliance, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time.
- Streamline Onboarding / Offboarding : Enhance the onboarding and offboarding experiences for team members by refining procedures and documentation.
- Oversee Vendor Relationships : Manage engagements with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring they meet company needs.
- Manage Billing and Collections : Oversee financial transactions with vendors, including timely payments and handling any discrepancies.
- Implement Best Practices : Stay updated on industry trends to introduce innovative solutions that enhance efficiency.
- Educate Team Members : Provide guidance and training to colleagues on new processes and tools.
- Ensure Compliance : Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure company operations adhere to necessary standards.
- Optimize Tools and Technologies : Evaluate and implement tools that enhance operational capabilities and productivity.
