A Day in the Life...
Forecasting & Analytics:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts and reporting for manufacturing locations.
- Analyze manufacturing performance metrics, identifying key cost drivers and variances.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with plant controllers to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across manufacturing sites.
- Partner with operations team to understand business drivers and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Support cross-functional projects by providing financial insights and analysis.
Reporting & Insights:
- Prepare and present monthly operational and financial performance reports to senior leadership.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead costs.
- Contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility into manufacturing performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
- Drive process improvements to create efficiency and enhanced insight into financial activity.
- Support the Operations FP&A Team in developing best practices and standardized templates for reporting and analysis.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an analyst with experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong analytical skills along with proficient knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be results-oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Systems application experience in PowerBI and SAP
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)Work Experience:
