What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Generalist Staff position at Cora Dale House?
Job Overview: Clubhouse Generalist Staff, Cora Dale House
A Clubhouse is a program designed to support and build community for our members who are adults living with mental illness. Generalist staff work side-by-side with members to provide access to opportunities for them to rejoin the worlds of friendship, employment, and education; as well as to the services and supports they need to continue their recovery. Clubhouse colleague (member and staff) relationships are different than typical relationships in social work. Instead of professional/client boundaries, Clubhouse relationships are formed through working together toward common goals. Clubhouse work is informed by the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. Please take time to review those Standards at https://clubhouse-intl.org/resources/quality-standards/
Because of the unique nature of the Clubhouse community, we request that potential applicants come and visit before we consider their application. Please email to arrange a time to come and visit the Clubhouse.
