CORA is seeking a High School Math Teacher to function within a multi-disciplinary team and provides remedial and diagnostic services to identified students. The High School Math Teacher also provides consultative services to school personnel, parents and CORA staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual’s potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach.
Provide remedial, diagnostic and consultative services to students, parents, school and CORA personnel.
Establish appropriate groups and schedule instructional time.
Make appropriate referrals for children needing additional services.
Monitor educational growth with established objectives as identified on student’s Learning Plan.
Adhere to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management and accountability.
Participate in all necessary inter-disciplinary functions, including regular meetings.
Generate reports as required.
Communicate and collaborate with principals, teachers and parents.

Title IA responsibilities :

Create Title 1 Eligibility List (Title IA).

Instruct Title 1 students in small groups, for 25-30 periods of instruction per week (Title IA).

Adhere to Title IA guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management and accountability (Title IA).

Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Education, as necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor degree from a certified teaching program

Pennsylvania Teaching certificate in Special Education or Math Education

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :

Solid working knowledge in the field of Education
