We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our Early Years Program at our Fox Chase location
This is a full-time, on-site position
CDA Required
Minimum starting salary - $15.50 - $16.40/hour
(compensation Commensurate With Experience And Credentials)
Work Hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Friday

In addition, as an Assistant Toddler Teacher your duties will include:
- Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing educational lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, in conjunction with the OCDEL-approved curriculum.
- Participating in individual and group activities to actively engage children and encourage cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Adhering to schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards, and safety and security of children
- Helping to monitor growth and development of children based on established learning objectives using age-appropriate assessment tools
- Establishing positive relationships with parents and maintaining frequent communication about student's growth and progress through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences
- Participating collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the Early Years program
- Helping with center-wide events, food program, preparation for assessments and audits, and other projects or tasks as assigned
- CDA credential required; undergraduate degree (AA or BA) in early childhood education preferred
- 2 years’ verifiable experience working with an early childhood population
- Familiarity with Keystone STARS standards and/or DHS regulations preferred
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification required – CORA will pay for certification if hired without
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships within CORA as well as with children and their families
- Demonstrated passion for engaging and teaching and supporting children
- Good computer skills and working knowledge of Office 365 applications
