Behavioral Consultant-ABA (BC-ABA)

Working as a BC-ABA with CORA, you will:
- Consult and train identified team members and professional and paraprofessional staff.
- Provide ABA assessment and direct services to clients and families in their natural environment.
- Promote collaboration and communication with all team members.
- Monitor and develop training on behavior management strategies and assessments to address challenging behaviors.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff while overseeing the implementation of programs with clients.
- Develop measures and monitor data collection for client programs being run.
- Conduct parent training on specific treatment goals and meaningful interventions for the family.
- Assist CORA direct staff, school professionals, and families in developing teaching/learning plans and positive support plans.
- Frequently review learning program records, including data collection and creation of graphs, to ensure that the behavioral intervention plans have been implemented with fidelity.
- Provide ongoing and timely documentation.
- Complete meaningful and detailed assessments and develop treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.
- Utilize preference assessments and model for staff and families the most clinically appropriate ABA techniques for reinforcement (e.g., prompting, shaping, chaining, errorless teaching, and error correction).
- Complete various assessments, including Adaptive Skills, Social Skills, VB-Mapp, AFLS, and FBAs.
- Develop skills acquisition programs, emotional learning strategies, function-based interventions, and specific methods and procedures based on Behavior Skills Teaching (BST) methods, utilizing, among other techniques, Intensive Teaching (IT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Functional Communication Training.
- Supervise ABA service delivery and the professional development of BHT-ABA staff as part of the clinical supervisory team.
- Attend and participate in meetings, training programs, and supervision as required by CORA and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualified Candidates Should Possess the following:
- A graduate degree in a related field with clinical experience
- Be licensed in this Commonwealth of PA as a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS)
- One year of providing ABA services to children up to age 21
- Expertise in using multiple technologies for intervention, data collection, and analysis.
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Self-directed and driven person to manage caseloads documentation, oversee ABA implementation, and collaborate effectively with families and community staff.
Preferred: 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of BCBA
