Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Golf Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. As the Golf Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while driving sales and maintaining store standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the shop team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily operations, including stock management, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process of new team members.
- Manage employee schedules and ensure effective time management within the team.
- Negotiate with vendors for stock procurement and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Monitor retail sales performance and analyze trends to optimize product offerings.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Golf retail management or as an Assistant Manager is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for our golfers.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
- Korean speaking is a plus.
- Ability to train and develop staff through effective coaching techniques.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor interactions and stock management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
