Position Summary :
Under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the runner serves as a laboratory helper and performs work in several areas. Performs other related duties.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED Certificate.
Skills and Abilities
Able to stand and walk continuously and be detail-oriented.
Good communication skills in the English language. Spanish also preferred.
Must be able to change priorities while maintaining professional demeanour, especially during emergencies and / or stressful situations. Basic computer knowledge
Ability to communicate politely and courteously with patients and hospital staff.
