About the Role
We are seeking a Medicaid Biller to join our team at Coral Rehabilitation and Nursing of McGregor. This is a full-time, on-site position (no remote work) that plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for resident care. You’ll work collaboratively with our business office, healthcare providers, and state agencies to navigate the complexities of Medicaid billing while contributing to the success of our facility.
What You'll Do
As our Medicaid Biller, you’ll:
- Prepare and Submit Claims: Process Medicaid billing with precision, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Verify Eligibility: Work with healthcare providers to maintain accurate and complete resident documentation.
- Manage Claims: Monitor, troubleshoot, and follow up on claim statuses to ensure timely reimbursements.
- Maintain Records: Keep resident billing records organized and up to date.
- Provide Financial Insights: Generate billing reports and share updates with leadership.
- Stay Compliant: Stay current on Medicaid policies, provide training, and address compliance concerns.
- Support Families: Assist residents and families with Medicaid billing inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: Proven track record in Medicaid billing for Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facilities is required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Texas Medicaid regulations and billing processes.
