Job Overview:
The role of this applicant is to design and estimate commercial solar systems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participates in cost estimating as required.
· Draft Electrical Engineered plans.
o Designs systems to optimize installation efficiency and lower BOS costs.
o Coordinate with PE’s to get drawings stamped.
· Participate and lead periodic utility calls to develop schedules, word orders and project management.
· Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors for specific scope, mostly tied to the MV/ AC equipment and installation.
· Create estimates as required.
· Work with electrical team to quantify all material needed for jobs.
· Participate in RFP responses to clients.
· Draft and review Interconnection applications.
· Understand Electrical permitting requirements.
· Travel as needed to inspect work and trouble shoot jobs.
· Participate in site inspections as required.
· Participate in CRP team meetings as required.
· Participate in the procurement of major Solar components- MV package, Modules and Inverters.
· Keep up with advancements in technology that could improve installation efficiency and lower pricing.
· Use NABCEP certification to allow Coral Reef to qualify for programs that require the certification.
