Overview:
Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Financial Analyst and will be responsible for financial projections and returns analysis for new business opportunities as well as fostering new client relationships. Additionally, this role will focus on brand pitch materials and work closely with the Operations and Design teams in the review of potential deals. This role will have frequent interaction with the President and other key leaders, as well as business partners in Legal, Design, Marketing, Revenue Management and Finance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed hotel profit and loss forecasts, conduct incisive returns analysis, explore various sensitivity scenarios, and perform ad hoc analysis to value management fees.
- Become an expert in independent resorts, lifestyle brands, and other unique hospitality entities. Use this knowledge to create tailored pitch decks/presentations during the RFP process.
- Play a key role in developing and nurturing pivotal relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders in the hospitality and real estate sectors, including owners, developers, consultants, brands, and third-party firms.
- Summarize complex hotel management agreements and related legal documents.
- Organize and streamline internal performance metrics and resources. Leverage your efficiency and strategic thinking to collaborate with third parties in procuring vital market data to ensure our decisions are informed and impactful.
- Compose articulate and concise emails, memos, and internal reports, crucial for deal approvals and leadership updates.
- Provide analytical support to the Operations and Design teams, especially during the critical phases of pre-opening and development. Your insights will help shape budgets and strategies, and ensure our projects are visionary and financially viable.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in hotel real estate valuation, finance, feasibility or investments.
- Understanding of return on investment and valuation concepts.
- Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Experience in hotel operations a plus.
- Ability to travel at least 25%.

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000/yr. bonus
Work location: Home Office, Englewood, CO
