- Support the People Services Charge: Along with the People Services Manager, oversee the day-to-day operations of the People Services operation for multiple business units by ensuring we continue to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry. Support the Black Desert people services team and director when needed.
- Shape our Strategic Future: Participate in shaping the future of our company by providing strategic planning and support, including staffing and training initiatives that will keep us at the forefront of the hospitality industry.
- Maintain Compliance with Confidence: Stay up-to-date on the latest government regulations and record-keeping requirements while ensuring that our team feels supported and valued.
- Maximize Performance: With guidance from the People Services Manager, oversee our performance management system, ensuring that performance evaluations are conducted in a timely manner and that our talent management system is effectively identifying and developing our top performers.
- Recruit with Passion: Play an integral role in attracting top talent to our organization, utilizing and updating our applicant tracking system, coordinating competency-based interviews, and analyzing data to make recommendations that will help us continue to grow and evolve.
- Coach for Success: Partner with the People Services Manager on employee relations issues, and support our team members by administering benefits and open enrollment.
- Manage Leaves with Compassion: Administer FMLA/LOA functions with compassion and empathy, ensuring our team members feel supported during times of need.
- Minimum of 1 years of human resources experience, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Understanding of HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
