About the Role:
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to individuals and families of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in providing primary care services to individuals and families.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in patient education and counseling.
- Specialization or certification in a specific area of practice, such as pediatrics or geriatrics.
- Experience in managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations of patients across the lifespan.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and develop patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care management.
