We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dry cleaning and hotel laundry services, ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and garments are cleaned to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various items, including linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care and precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
• Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in a laundry role, particularly in dry cleaning or hotel environments, is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Nights as needed
• On call
• Weekends only
