Home/Personal Care Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to respond effectively to the needs of clients, particularly those with disabilities or health challenges.

Must pass a drug screen, background check. Have automobile insurance.

Duties

• Assist with meal preparation.
• Provide light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance the emotional well-being of clients.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to management.

Skills

• Experience in meal preparation and cooking for individuals with specific dietary needs.
• Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
• Familiarity with home community care practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and families and management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
