What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Healthcare Professional Marketing position at Corcept Therapeutics?
This individual will be responsible for branded & disease education marketing, brand planning, and other pre-launch & launch initiatives ahead of the expansion of the franchise in late 2025. The ideal candidate has a versatile range of marketing skills and seamlessly collaborates with stakeholders across functions in a nimble, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to lead, develop and execute branded and disease education initiatives to raise awareness of launch brand and hypercortisolism among key provider audiences
- Lead the development of HCP market research and commercial data analyses and translate data into key insights/communication strategies for market shaping initiatives
- Develop HCP targeting & segmentation strategies for branded and disease education marketing initiatives
- Create communication materials and collateral in support of business objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all communications, including franchise-wide lexicon and cross-divisional messaging about dually-indicated launch product
- Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials
- Work with training and field leadership to integrate insights into plan & project development and execution
- Support cross-functional launch coordination & initiatives
- Contribute to the development, evolution and implementation of the yearly franchise strategic plan for the endocrine division
- Support the development of analytics and metrics to support market shaping objectives
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:
- Strong cross-functional collaboration & coordination, project management, communication, and organization skills
- Experience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
- Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
- The position will be based in Redwood City/Bay Area; remote candidates with ample experience and expertise will also be considered
- Travel approximately 20% of time
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA is a plus but not required
- 10 years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry, including a deep understanding of the digital space
- Experience working in small to mid-sized biopharmaceutical firms is desired
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $209,700 - $246,700; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
