Position Summary:
The Project Manager will serve as a primary contact for customers and is responsible for managing projects from beginning to end. This includes but is not limited to budgeting, bidding, contracting, scheduling, staffing and customer follow-up. The Project Manager will participate through project completion by ensuring regular contact with customers through project completion.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing project plans and designs.
  • Serve as primary contact to customer contacts from time of contract execution through completion of project.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and field employees.
  • Plan and evaluate project progress from initial conception through project completion.
  • Facilitate or attend all project related meetings both internally and externally.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, customer reports and project updates as required.
  • Analyze project revenue, cost and profitability against project quote and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
  • Review customer specifications and project quotes.
  • Negotiate changes throughout the process of completing the project.
  • Follow the status of projects by keeping customers and field employees on project informed and negotiate completion times with the customer.
  • Resolve problems for customers during the process of completing each project and determine necessary actions to resolve problems.
  • Meet and speak regularly with customers.
  • Perform additional duties as requested/required by the customer and/or company.
  • Experience all aspects of field work to better understand overall business.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Relevant experience is desired
  • Must be comfortable in both office and field environments
  • Ability to create and manage costs and schedules associated with projects and problems that may arise with those projects
  • Ability to track and manage job costs and implement steps to maximize profit
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a must
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain organization with multiple, time sensitive projects
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and all levels of company personnel
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites
