Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA to manage, optimize, and support our database environments. Focus on query optimization, stored procedures, index management, and high availability/disaster recovery. Experience with SSRS and documentation/change management is required. SolarWinds SQL Sentry knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and index performance.
- Manage high availability/disaster recovery (AlwaysOn, Mirroring, Log Shipping).
- Administer SQL Server Standard/Enterprise Editions.
- Support and troubleshoot SSRS environments.
- Maintain database documentation and follow change management processes.
- Provide on-call support for critical systems.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of SQL Server DBA experience.
- Strong query optimization, index management, and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience with SSRS.
- Strong documentation and change management skills.
- Availability for on-call support.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SolarWinds SQL Sentry.
- Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SQL Server DBA).
- PowerShell scripting for automation.
