Position Overview
The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of operations of Cordelio's Crossover wind farm (200 MW) and from the O&M building in Wynne, Arkansas, the role entails direct oversight of third-party service providers on-site and potential supervision of future Cordelio employees. The role includes collaboration with internal asset management, engineering, land, accounting, and other teams to realize business plan and annual plan objectives.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations and Asset Management, this role is best suited for a person with demonstrated leadership abilities, safety-first vision, strong technical and problem-solving skills, and a history of working with wind turbines and high voltage.
This role is to be based full time in Wynne, Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate operational activities for Cordelio-owned facilities while monitoring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Leads safety initiatives by example, fostering inclusion of all parties on the project into the safety culture (regardless of their employer).
- Provide oversight of daily operations, including third party turbine O&M contractor's activities.
- Manages project balance of plant operations to budget.
- Execute comprehensive maintenance programs on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment availability.
- Manage warranty tracking and claims with vendors, support insurance claims.
- Support annual operating budget development for the facilities.
- Act as representative of the operating wind farms with the community and maintain positive relations with landowners, elected officials, and neighbors.
- Available to work extended hours on short notice (e.g., in support of unplanned outages).
