SUMMARYThe Warehouse Supervisor oversees personnel and operational activities within the assigned warehouse. This role provides guidance, leadership, and development for warehouse staff, ensuring the physical control and integrity of all materials, in addition to inventory control, time and resource management, training, shift scheduling, employee motivation, and disciplinary action. The Supervisor is also responsible for safe warehouse operation, compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the site's 24/7 operation.
The Supervisor manages on-site and offsite warehouse operations for materials, supplies, and equipment. Coordinates the delivery of material to meet production schedules. Interacts with internal process experts to keep abreast of process changes and modifies scheduling/buying agreements accordingly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, local, state, and federal regulations, including GMP, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse functions, including material operations, personnel oversight, and local storage facilities.
- Support inventory management processes within SAP, including Sales Order entry, Customer Entry, and Order Dispatch.
- Oversee internal and external audits of the Warehouse, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Initiate incident reporting as necessary and lead audit-related CAPAs.
- Manage and implement warehouse and logistic projects for space utilization, cold storage, recycling, and disposal.
- Coordinate movement of materials among third-party warehouses and manufacturing sites.
- Verify quantity and quality of stock received, resolving issues related to damaged goods, late deliveries, and invoices.
- Support transportation activities and coordinate with Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Planning teams.
- Oversee hazardous waste management and shipping, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide product profile for shipment of goods in accordance with DOT and IATA regulations.
- Review warehouse operations daily to ensure the warehouse is neat and secure; and that damage to product, equipment, and the facility is prevented.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed in compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and MSDS standards and company SOP’s.
- Follow all environmental, health and safety, regulatory requirements, equipment and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Successful oversight of all warehouse operations and staff to ensure successful management and delivery of materials and solvents. Ensure staff training is current. Conducts employee reviews and is responsible for designated Warehouse employee related matters including, but not limited to, hiring, recognition, discipline, LTAs, and disability issues, etc. addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partner effectively with Manufacturing, Quality and Safety Team to resolve issues and ensure consistent execution to the schedule the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for creating an environment that encourages technical excellence, developing and coaching the group to improve skills, and ensuring high quality technical work. Participate in CPB budget process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma and or General Education Degree (GED) and minimum 5 years of experience in Warehouse and/or Logistics fields. Minimum of 3 years working in a GMP environment and minimum of 3 in a supervisory role.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Excellent writing and presentation skills and demonstrated supervisory skills. Ability to lead direct and indirect team/staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be fork truck certified. Must be DOT & IATA certified.
Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
