We are looking for a certified Extended Functions Dental Assistant to assist the dentists at Forest Park Dental in all procedures. We not only deliver the best clinical care for our patients, but we also provide a high energy, team-oriented work place. It is important for patients to know we care and will support them in getting healthy. Duties:
- Provide assistance to the Dentists during procedures including preparation and documentation
- Assist with clinical procedures such as: composite fillings, crown and bridge, fabricate temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures and more
- Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
- Take digital X-Rays
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety requirements
- Perform proper operation and maintenance of dental equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships
- EFDA Certification
- Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient.
