What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Room Dining Server position at Cordevalle, L?
JOB SUMMARY
- Ensures proper handling of equipment, prevents loss, breakage and damage to assets and goods.
- Takes food and drink orders in a professional manner. Enters all orders into the Jonas and follows up print out with kitchen and waiter.
- Processes the orders by sequence, ensures an efficient routing to the kitchen in a timely and correct procedure.
- Replenishes Room Service stock and assists the Server in re-ordering of stock.
- Control the billing of orders delivered.
- Deals with guest comments calmly and tactfully, reports any comments / complaint to the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Follows up on food delivered and the clearance of trays from rooms and writes all details on the service logs.
- Follows the correct service procedures and carries out necessary paper work related to VIPs, Amenity lists and participates in their preparation.
- Follows all CordeValle policies, procedures and Responsibilities.
- To have a complete knowledge of all Outlets’ opening, closing times, Opening & Closing Procedures, and menus offered.
- Be able to speak proper English.
- Must be able to handle fluctuations in business levels while remaining calm & professional.
- Must be able to work well independently, without direct supervision, as well as know when to ask for assistance.
- General Food and Beverage server and duties as required
- Restocking of mini bars
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have 6 months experience in Room Service.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Must have a High School Diploma
