What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert?
Title: Manager, Accounting
Compensation: 120K to 130K Bonus
Environment: Reston, VA (Hybrid 2 days per week)
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes including assistance with month-end close, year-end close, and other monthly operational duties.
- Manage payroll process between payroll services company and book all payroll entries
- Support audits - annual external audit through external accounting firm.
- Ad-hoc projects requested by the CFO, Controller and/or department heads to support the business.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 5 years of total experience with 2 years of experience working in Tech/IT preferred
- CPA Preferred.
