Our Construction & Development client is looking for a Controller! This is a direct hire/full-time position! The Controller is responsible for working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to execute financial strategy while leading the accounting team and financial operations of a fast-growing national company. The Controller will lead a team and prepare financial statements for (6 ) entities. This will include managing WIP and related job costs, supporting the budget process, and oversight of A/P, A/R, and payroll functions.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience (including 5 years of supervisory experience), preferably in construction and development and/or public accounting.
- A minimum of a BS/BA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration; CPA desirable.
- Must be proficient in multiple finance technology platforms and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using construction industry standard accounting systems (i.e. Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation or JDE).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
