- Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and compliance in accordance with GASB.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to institutional policies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with higher education financial reporting standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting within the higher education sector.
- Strong knowledge of GASB standards and governmental accounting practices.
- Prior experience leading or managing a finance team.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
