Title: Internal Audit Director
Location: Hybrid (Washington Metro Area)
Compensation: ~$170K plus bonus
Join and lead a dynamic team as the Director of Internal Audit at a leading company. In this role, you will oversee the Regional Internal Audit department, ensuring the company's internal control structure aligns with business goals. Preferred qualifications include IIA certification, expertise in fraud investigation, and IT audit. This position is hybrid in the Washington Metro Area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Regional Internal Audit department
- Execute all phases of Internal Audit engagements for the assigned region
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to managers
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal reporting
- Coordinate internal and external audit efforts
- Maintain a quality assurance program for the internal audit function
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal audit
- Leadership experience in developing and executing internal audit programs
- Industry experience in Hospitality, F&B, and/or Retail
- IIA certification or equivalent preferred
- Expertise in fraud investigation and IT audit
- Strong business acumen and the ability to advance organizational goals
