Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy HR Specialist to join our team in a brand-new role designed to support our HR, administrative, and payroll functions. This position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to grow and develop a career in HR or finance. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Administration and will play a critical role in shaping our HR policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain the employee handbook and company policies.
- Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Perform administrative duties, including record-keeping and data entry.
- Maintain and manage employee data, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide HR support to employees, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new employees.
- Collaborate with the finance team to align HR and administrative efforts.
- Participate in special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
