Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager who will play a key role in a short-term cleanup effort. This includes handling detailed reconciliations, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and supporting audit preparation. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced with modern accounting systems and project-based accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in historical financial data
- Support audit preparation and provide documentation as needed
- Assist with process improvements and documentation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including project clean-up work
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and iMIS is highly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
