Senior Accountant

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant for our corporate client. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions, including journal entries, financial consolidations, account reconciliations, and audit support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with Oracle is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; Oracle experience is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
