Neuro NP in Bronx

Regional Neurological Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate NP in Neurology to join our team. We are a leading healthcare organization providing comprehensive neurological health services. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments.
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's health needs.
• Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Diagnostic tests: Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI's and CT Scans.
• Laboratory tests: Order and interpret Lab tests.
• Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
• Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provie comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
• Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of medications and treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
