Mission :
- This role is responsible for the design and execution of the administrative and accounting processes in a professional and timely manner. It involves the management of accounts payable to suppliers, expenses, advances, petty cash, expense budgets, direct relationship with Accounting Servicios Nutresa, and the proper management of the accounting file.
- In charge of the tax strategy before the IRS, while coordinating with our tax advisor and being in constant communication with the corporate in Medellin, ensuring that the company complies with all government regulations regarding federal and local taxes in each state, department of work and others, and attending any requirement of any government entity.
- Provide and coordinate an excellent payment service to suppliers, making sure that all payable accounts are in an optimal state and aligned with company key indicators.
- Ensure a high-quality payment service to all employees and contractors by minimizing errors and accurately calculating the variable income or commissions of the sales force.
- Supervise the correct accounting of bank transactions, accounting items, fixed assets and others.
- Analyze sales and administrative expenses, taking actions to optimize resources, and prepare and supervise budget expenses.
Responsibilities :
PAYABLE ACCOUNTS : Responsible for the proper management of payments to suppliers, guaranteeing the quality, timeliness, and reliability of the information. Providing a friendly and proactive service to the company's suppliers is a must. Principle tasks below :
Travel Expenses : Responsible for the control, monitoring and enforcement of the travel expenses policies of Cordialsa USA.
Credit cards : Responsible for controlling, monitoring and executing credit card usage policies. This should be aligned with the Travel Expenses Policies and the Sales and Marketing Expenses Policies.
Bank Reconciliations : Responsible for the proper monitoring of bank reconciliation, ensuring that reconciliation items can be resolved promptly and clearly.
Fixed Assets : Responsible for an adequate accounting control of Fixed Assets in coordination with Servicios Nutresa. The correct accounting of assets and depreciations must be guaranteed.
ACCOUNTING : Responsible for guaranteeing the reasonableness, reliability and quality of Cordialsa USA accounting information. In order to make this possible, is necessary to work together with Servicios Nutresa and with our accounting and tax advisors, to ensure that the accounting is up to date and the books reflect the reality of the business. To guarantee the reasonableness of the figures and the appropriate controls is necessary to maintain adequate control over all the Assets, Liabilities and Equity accounts.
TAXES : Responsible for the timely and reliable presentation of the Sales & Use Tax of all the states where Cordialsa USA reports this information to :
ANALYSIS OF SALES AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES : Support during the preparation of the Annual Budget Expense.
