Overview
Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Manager IV to support the Facilities Sector.
Responsibilities
- Manages the development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders
- Provides direction and input on project from design development stage through construction
- May act as LAWA’s primary representative on a project
- Establishes standards for meeting minutes, records, etc.
- Ensures designers and contractors are meeting CEQA/NEPA and/or entitlement requirements
- Facilitates coordination with other LAWA divisions and regulatory agencies (Planning, FAA, TSA, AQMD, SHPO, EPA, etc.)
- Coordinates messaging plan, notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed
- Oversees the fulfillment of LAWA’s overarching organizational goals by coordinating activities and interdependencies between multiple project teams
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for project and overall program process, resources, budget, risks and opportunities
Specific Experience:
- Understands airport infrastructure capital evaluation programs
- Ability to collaborate with project controls and analytics teams
- Ability to manage engineering and architecture (E/A) teams
- Understands above and below ground infrastructure and utility systems
- Ability to oversee all aspects of infrastructure assessments, planning, design, and construction of existing airport facilities
- Ability to understand the strategic objectives, budgetary constraints and timelines set by the airport authority
- Ability to monitor compliance with industry standards, airport regulations (FAA), and safety protocols as a representative of the airport authority
- Strong communication skills which include reporting progress to the airport authority’s executive management and facilitating communication between stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors, other key airport facilities personnel)
- Experience with airport facilities that include vertical structures/buildings, aviation fueling facilities, and civil infrastructure (existing landside roads, utilities, airfield, runways)
- Ability to identify deficiencies of structural, civil and aviation infrastructure to make recommendations for repair, replacement or improvement
- Ability to conduct responsibilities utilizing the airport authority’s program and asset management software
- Ability to oversee quality assurance, scheduling, materials testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
- Understands environmental compliance, testing, risk management and safety requirements for an active airport
Qualifications
- 15 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, and/or related field required
- Preferably a Professionally licensure and/or certifications are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
- Has demonstratable specialized experience/area of expertise
- Exceptional writing and organization skills.
- Effective decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT a plus
Salary Range: $200K to $230K per year
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Environment: Onsite
