The E-commerce Director will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and success of CorDx's e-commerce business. This role will oversee all aspects of the online sales and customer experience, leading a team and collaborating with various departments to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to increase online sales, market share, and customer satisfaction
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for the e-commerce platform and monitor progress regularly
- Oversee the design, functionality, and performance of the company's e-commerce website
- Ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience, including navigation, product presentation, and checkout processes
- Lead and manage the e-commerce team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective goals
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversions, and enhance brand visibility online
- Manage SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and affiliate programs
- Work closely with the product team to ensure accurate and compelling product listings and descriptions
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive product assortment and merchandising decisions
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the online shopping journey
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Analyze e-commerce data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on e-commerce performance and recommend strategic actions
- Identify and establish partnerships with third-party platforms, marketplaces, and service providers to expand the online reach
- Manage integrations with payment gateways, logistics providers, and other relevant systems
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of e-commerce experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving significant growth in an e-commerce business
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce technologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce
- Excellent English and Mandarin writing and speaking skills preferred
