Job Description Position: Senior Analyst / Associate - Real Estate Investments

Opportunity:

Candidate has a unique opportunity to join CORE’s newly created business vertical. Currently, the RE Investments team has clients that seek to deploy hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate over the coming years. The team works hand in hand with each client to create a strategy and execution plan. CORE sets out on the created strategy as an extension of its clients.

Over the past year, the team has been tasked with exploring various business plans, acquisitions and exit opportunities, programmatic joint ventures, ground up development, creation of a REIT and a potential IPO.

The Associate will have exposure to market research, financial underwriting, vehicle structuring, capital raising, tax strategy and other key activities within the real estate value chain, as well as the opportunity to engage with many of the most prominent service providers and capital partners in the US.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

The Associate’s primary focus will be assisting CORE’s Real Estate Investment clients and will report directly to senior members of the team. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Independently create and manage the creation of accurate financial models and ad-hoc analyses in Excel
• Manage the creation of pitch books, and investment summaries/memos, in PowerPoint
• Engage with clients and third parties to execute on various initiatives
• Drive and manage the closing processes for transactions including overseeing the diligence processes
• Initiate research assignments for transaction use and for the firm’s collective market knowledge
• Work with senior leadership to refine processes for the clients and the company
• Manage investor and lender lists for live assignments and overall data base
• Other ad-hoc assignments

Key Qualifications:

Technical

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with financial modeling
• Understanding and able to teach analysts general real estate concepts

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field (3.5 GPA or higher)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant finance, accounting, or real estate field
• Personable with a positive attitude with desire to learn and grow, both professionally and personally
