Summary
The Digital Alliances Business Development Lead is responsible for supporting directly revenue generating activities at NRI. This role supports Cosell activities between NRI and Microsoft, as measured by new leads from Microsoft, new customer acquisition efforts, and opportunity growth and acceleration. Within Digital Alliances, this role will work closely with Digital Alliances Operations and the Microsoft Programs to drive an increase in activity between NRI and Microsoft.
Responsibilities- Drive co-sell motion between NRI and Microsoft
- Key liaison between Digital Alliances and NRI's sales functions.
- Drive and support relationship between NRI and Microsoft field seller community
- Support growth and acceleration of existing sales opportunities
- Responsible for driving activities to increase leads and new customer logos from Microsoft field sales
- Drive targeted campaigns focused on Microsoft's core priorities alongside sellers' gaps to quota (internal and MSFT).
- Develop to-seller and to-customer content shareable via marketing
- Support in-market events between NRI and Microsoft sellers/Microsoft field offices
- Conduct training sessions, develop user guides, and provide support to NRI sellers, ensuring effective interactions with Microsoft
- Gather feedback from users to identify improvement areas and implement best practices to meet seller needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate processes, and improve efficiencies with Microsoft programs to drive sales acceleration and growth.
- 5-7 years of experience selling with Microsoft.
- Demonstrated experience in the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
- Success in developing strong customer and partner relationships.
- Proven customer-facing ability.
- Experience researching Microsoft constructs, products, services, and policies.
- Collaborative and effective team player with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Extremely focused on details and quality of work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and establish credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to build alliances and leverage all available assets and capabilities to create the strongest and most competitive value proposition supported by technical and financial data.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
- Experience with Microsoft function beyond sales
