Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Cogito Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare analytics and business intelligence, with expertise in Epic's Cogito suite. This role involves working closely with clinical, operational, and financial teams to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using Epic Cogito tools, including Clarity, Caboodle, and Reporting Workbench.
- Perform complex data analysis to generate actionable insights for clinical, financial, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytics solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and quality within the Epic data warehouse.
- Utilize SQL for querying and managing data within Epic's Clarity and Caboodle data models.
- Leverage reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
- Implement and manage cloud-based analytics solutions, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Epic Cogito tools and analytics best practices.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on Epic Cogito.
Certifications: Epic Cogito Certification is required. Epic Clarity and Caboodle Certifications are preferred. Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions, particularly Epic Caboodle.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Epic's Reporting Workbench.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C#.
- Understanding of cloud-based analytics platforms like Microsoft Azure.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with Epic Radar for customizing dashboards and managing reports.
- Training in SlicerDicer for advanced data analysis.
