Job Description:
As a Sr. Network Engineer (WiFi Specialist), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our wireless network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance across all network segments, including WAN, LAN, and WiFi. Your expertise in deploying networks at a scale will be crucial in supporting our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage WiFi networks to ensure robust and reliable connectivity.
- Conduct site surveys and RF analysis to optimize wireless coverage and performance.
- Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WiFi solutions with existing network infrastructure.
- Implement security protocols to protect network integrity and data privacy.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on WiFi technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, and WiFi principles and best practices.
- Experience with network design and deployment at scale.
- Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CWNA, CWNP) are a plus.
Salary : $45 - $55
