Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events. The Event Assistant will work closely with the Event Manager and team to coordinate logistics, communicate with vendors and attendees, and ensure all event details are meticulously handled. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a passion for event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in event planning, including researching venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and transportation of materials.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and attendees to confirm event details and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and organize event materials, such as registration lists, name tags, and signage.
- Support marketing and promotion efforts, including social media updates, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Track expenses, manage invoices, and ensure budget adherence.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues to ensure a seamless event experience.
- Assist with post-event follow-up, including feedback collection and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
