Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has excellent communication skills. This role involves assisting with event logistics, vendor coordination, administrative tasks, and on-site event support to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing events, including corporate functions, trade shows, and private gatherings.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and other event service providers.
- Support event marketing efforts, including social media promotion and email outreach.
- Prepare event materials such as name tags, programs, and signage.
- Handle event registration, guest lists, and attendee communication.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoices, and expense reports.
- Provide on-site support, including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting during events.
- Ensure compliance with company and venue policies and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
