communities we serve The Cook I, Community Corrections prepares approved menu meals for the resident population and staff. Follows proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with processes, food preparation methods and sanitary standards. Qualifications: High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required. Experience in food service and good knowledge of volume food service operation, including safety and sanitation is preferred. Must meet all state and local government food handling requirements. Must pass and obtain a food handler card within 30 days after the date of hire. Must be available to work any hours, any shift. Valid driver's license is required. CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace
