What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Warehouse Associate position at CORE Community Organized Relief Effort?
CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE GA provides free vaccinations and additional resources to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas.

- Organize pallets on racking and items shelving throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Receive, inventory, and store all incoming shipments in the proper location in the warehouse.
- Conduct precise inventory counts in the warehouse and communicate any discrepancies to the Warehouse Management team.
- Assist with ensuring the technology inventory is current and accounting for all tech assets.
- Organize and properly palletize materials for shipments and deliveries.
- Load vehicles and trucks with materials to be sent off for deliveries and/or deployments.
- Assist in maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse and office space.
- Fulfill any specific requests of the Logistics or Warehouse Management.
- A minimum of one year of Warehouse and/or Logistics experience.
- Proficiency in the operation of a manual and electric pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck for pallet racking and moving.
- Proficiency in pallet wrapping and/or utilizing a pallet wrapping machine.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Readiness to commit and adhere to the values, mission and vision of CORE.
- Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Well-organized and proactive approach to managing tasks
- Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and push carts up to 60 pounds.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment for an entire shift.
- Must be able to stand at two-hour intervals in personal protective equipment.
- Work a full 40-hour work week.

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
