Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives within our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and the ability to lead projects that promote environmental stewardship. The Environmental Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to environmental laws and best practices while fostering a culture of sustainability.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Profiling waste streams and scheduling disposals.
- QuickBooks / Billing.
- Feild work on cleanups and office duties vary.
- Inventory and record keeping.
- On call 7 days a week including weekends, holidays, etc.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of TCEQ Regulations, RCRA waste codes, TRRP, SPCC, Etc.
- HAZWHOPER 40hr
- Excel, Word, Gmail
- Emergency Response
- Sampling and Monitoring
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
